Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the butterscotch and chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each scoop.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
