- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
- In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and browned butter until smooth.
- Stir in the pumpkin puree and egg, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the pumpkin mixture without over-mixing.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop dough balls onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
- Let cool before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, watch the butter carefully to avoid burning and chill the dough if it’s too sticky.
