Description

A delightful dessert that combines the rich, fudgy goodness of brownies with the chewy texture of cookies.


Ingredients

  • 1 box Brownie mix
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 cup Brown sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips (semi-sweet, dark, or white)
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour (or gluten-free blend)
  • 1 tsp Baking soda


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until well mixed. Pour into the prepared pan evenly.
  3. In another bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, and baking soda. Add chocolate chips and melted butter, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Dollop the cookie dough over the brownie layer, allowing some brownie to peek through.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the edges are set but the center may be soft.
  6. Cool in the pan for a bit before slicing into squares. Enjoy warm or allow to cool completely.

Notes

Can be served with vanilla ice cream or drizzled with caramel sauce for added delight.
