- 2 cups whole milk (or dairy-free alternative)
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup melted butter

- While baking, prepare the vanilla sauce by combining 1 cup milk, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1 tablespoon vanilla in a saucepan over low heat until warm and sugar dissolves.
- Serve warm bread pudding drizzled with vanilla sauce.
Notes
Let bread sit for a day or two to dry out for better soaking. Serve warm for the best experience.
