Description

An energizing and gut-friendly smoothie that blends sweet blueberries with earthy matcha for a smooth, delicious start to your day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe banana (preferably sliced and frozen)
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder (culinary grade)
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 2 tablespoons rolled oats

Frozen banana, fresh blueberries, matcha powder, spinach, oats, and almond milk laid out on a linen cloth for a smoothie prep shot

Instructions

  1. Pour almond milk into the blender first.
  2. Add spinach for easy blending.
  3. Add frozen banana and blueberries.
  4. Top with oats and matcha powder.
  5. Blend on high for 2–3 minutes until smooth, scraping sides as needed.
  6. Adjust thickness with more milk or oats/ice as desired.

Notes

Try swaps like frozen mango or avocado for banana, different milk types, or added protein with almond butter or vanilla protein powder. Store leftovers up to 24 hours in the fridge, shake before drinking.
