- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels with melted butter and 1/4 cup sugar. Press into a 9×13 inch pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and remaining sugar until smooth. Gently fold in whipped topping.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust. Chill for 1 hour to set.
- Mix fresh strawberries with strawberry gelatin and pour over the cream cheese layer.
- Refrigerate for 2-4 hours until the gelatin sets.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled.
Notes
For added flavor, try using crushed pineapple in the creamy layer or substitute with different berries.
