Description

Delicious Korean BBQ meatballs bursting with umami flavors, paired with a creamy and spicy mayo dip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or Pork (or Ground Turkey)
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs (or Regular Breadcrumbs)
  • 3 cloves Fresh Minced Garlic (or Garlic Powder)
  • 1/4 cup chopped Green Onions
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (or Tamari for Gluten-Free)
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar (or Honey/Agave Syrup)
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil (or Olive Oil)
  • 1 Egg (or Flaxseed Meal Mix)
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tbsp Sriracha (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, panko breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped green onions, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and the beaten egg. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Scoop about one tablespoon of the mixture and roll into meatballs. Place on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs bake, mix mayonnaise with sriracha to your desired spice level.
  6. Serve meatballs warm with the spicy mayo dip on the side.

Notes

Don’t overmix to keep meatballs tender. Use a cookie scoop for even shaping.
