Ingredients
- Cube Steak
- Onion, sliced
- Cream of Mushroom Soup
- Beef Broth
- Garlic Powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- Cornstarch (optional)
Instructions
- Season the cube steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place sliced onions at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Nestle the seasoned cube steak on top of the onions.
- Mix together the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth until smooth, then pour over the steak.
- Sprinkle garlic powder over the mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours until the steak is fork-tender.
- If desired, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the cooking liquid 30 minutes before serving to thicken the gravy.
