Description

A tender and savory cube steak slow-cooked to perfection in rich gravy, perfect for comfort food lovers.


Ingredients

  • Cube Steak
  • Onion, sliced
  • Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • Beef Broth
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cornstarch (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season the cube steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Place sliced onions at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Nestle the seasoned cube steak on top of the onions.
  4. Mix together the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth until smooth, then pour over the steak.
  5. Sprinkle garlic powder over the mixture.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours until the steak is fork-tender.
  7. If desired, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the cooking liquid 30 minutes before serving to thicken the gravy.
