Description

Delicious bite-sized treats made with fresh broccoli, creamy cheese, and seasonings, baked until crisp and golden.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli, chopped finely
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (regular or panko)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. If using fresh broccoli, chop it finely. If using frozen, ensure it is fully thawed and well-drained.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped broccoli, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
  4. Wet your hands slightly to prevent sticking and roll the mixture into small balls, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
  5. Place the balls on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding cream cheese to the mixture or experimenting with spices like paprika or cayenne.
