Description
A quick and tasty stir fry with tender shrimp, crunchy cabbage, and vibrant flavors, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cups cabbage, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Rice or noodles, for serving
Instructions
- Prep the ingredients: Wash and chop all your veggies.
- Heat the pan: In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Sauté the aromatics: Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Cook the shrimp: Toss in the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes, then remove and set aside.
- Stir-fry the veggies: In the same skillet, add more oil if needed, and toss in cabbage and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until crispy-tender.
- Bring it together: Return shrimp to the pan, pour in soy sauce, and toss everything together. Cook for another minute.
- Finish and serve: Garnish with green onions and serve over rice or noodles.
Notes
Use fresh shrimp for better texture and don’t overcook the veggies for a nice crunch. Adjust seasoning as desired.
