- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 8 oz full-fat cream cheese
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 cups fresh diced apples
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- In a bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and one egg. Stir until smooth, then press evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish.
- In a separate bowl, blend the cream cheese until smooth. Add the remaining egg, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
- Spread the apple chunks evenly over the cake base, then pour the cream cheese filling over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden on top with a slight jiggle in the center.
- Let the cake cool before slicing and serving.
