- 16 oz cream cheese, softened

- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 cups apples, peeled and sliced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 ½ cups oats
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter until crumbly, then press mixture into a springform pan. Bake for about 10 minutes until set.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in sour cream and pour the mixture over the cooled crust.
- Toss the sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg, then pour this over the cheesecake filling.
- In another bowl, combine oats, more crushed graham crackers, and melted butter, then sprinkle this mixture over the apples.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center is slightly jiggly.
- Allow to cool completely before refrigerating for a few hours. Slice and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
Notes
Allowing the cheesecake to chill overnight improves the flavor. For a twist, consider adding other fruits like pears or cranberries.
