- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- 2-3 Fresh Apples, chopped
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, beat softened butter until fluffy. Add sugar and mix until creamy.
- Mix in eggs one at a time, then pour in milk until combined.
- Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in chopped apples.
- For the crumb topping, combine flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and a pinch of cinnamon until crumbly.
- Spoon the batter into a baking dish and sprinkle crumb topping on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, powdered sugar, or caramel sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
