Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons almond extract

  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan with butter or baking spray, lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Beat in each egg one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the almond extract.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Alternately add the dry mix and milk to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
