Description

Deliciously nutty and gluten-free chocolate chip cookies made with almond flour.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together almond flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to continue cooling.

Notes

For firmer cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
