Instructions
- Cream the butter and sugar together in a large bowl until creamy and smooth.
- Mix in the almond extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, ground almonds, and salt. Gradually add to the butter-sugar mixture until combined.
- Shape the dough into small crescent shapes and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Notes
Make sure butter is softened for easy mixing. Chill the dough for firmer cookies. Store in an airtight container.
