Description

Delicious almond-flavored cookies shaped like crescents, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup ground almonds
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together in a large bowl until creamy and smooth.
  2. Mix in the almond extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, ground almonds, and salt. Gradually add to the butter-sugar mixture until combined.
  4. Shape the dough into small crescent shapes and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Notes

Make sure butter is softened for easy mixing. Chill the dough for firmer cookies. Store in an airtight container.
