Description

Delightful baked treats that melt in your mouth, featuring ground almonds and a charming powdered sugar coating.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup ground almonds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the unsalted butter with granulated and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg yolk and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, ground almonds, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, mixing with a spatula until it forms a dough.
  5. Scoop out a tablespoon of dough and roll it into a crescent shape. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
  6. Bake for about 12–15 minutes until lightly golden.
  7. Once cool, dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

Use room temperature butter for better texture; don’t overbake for a melt-in-your-mouth consistency.
