A healthier twist on the classic Chicken Parmesan, made in the air fryer for a crispy finish without the guilt.

- 2 boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1 cup Italian-style Breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
- 2 Eggs
- 1 cup Marinara Sauce
- Olive Oil Spray
Instructions
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
- In one bowl, beat the eggs. In another, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese together.
- Dip each chicken piece in the egg, then coat it in the breadcrumb mix.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
- Spray chicken with olive oil, arrange in air fryer basket, and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Add marinara sauce on top and sprinkle with mozzarella. Cook for another 3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it rest for a few minutes and serve with pasta, salad, or bread.
Notes
For best results, thoroughly coat the chicken and avoid overcrowding in the air fryer. Experiment with different cheeses for unique flavors.
