Description

These crispy, gooey air fried Babybel cheese treats are perfect for snacks or movie nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Babybel Cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Set up an assembly line with flour in one bowl, beaten egg in another, and breadcrumbs in a third.
  2. Dust each Babybel cheese with flour to help the egg stick.
  3. Dip the floured cheese into the beaten egg, fully coating it.
  4. Roll the egg-coated cheese in breadcrumbs, pressing gently for an even coat.
  5. Place the coated cheese in the air fryer basket, ensuring space between each piece.
  6. Set the air fryer to 375°F and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Remove carefully and let cool for a minute before serving.

Notes

Refrigerating the coated cheese for 15 minutes before air frying helps the coating adhere better. Feel free to experiment with herbs and spices in the breadcrumbs.
