- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Set up an assembly line with flour in one bowl, beaten egg in another, and breadcrumbs in a third.
- Dust each Babybel cheese with flour to help the egg stick.
- Dip the floured cheese into the beaten egg, fully coating it.
- Roll the egg-coated cheese in breadcrumbs, pressing gently for an even coat.
- Place the coated cheese in the air fryer basket, ensuring space between each piece.
- Set the air fryer to 375°F and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, until golden brown.
- Remove carefully and let cool for a minute before serving.
Notes
Refrigerating the coated cheese for 15 minutes before air frying helps the coating adhere better. Feel free to experiment with herbs and spices in the breadcrumbs.
